Waqar Younis admits that Virat Kohli is destined to break all batting records

Former Pakistan head coach Waqar believes that looking at his fitness, focus and the way Virat enjoys the game is very commendable.

The batting maestro of the Indian team Virat Kohli has already conquered many big records in international cricket which has indeed encrypted his name in the history of the game. Considering his fitness and the hunger to score runs and perform for his country, the Indian captain is also on the cusp of breaking the rest of the milestones too. Many former legends of the game have also encouraged Virat to achieve great heights in the coming years. Former Pakistani cricketer Waqar Younis is another one who feels that Kohli is destined to break all batting records on his way.

The right-handed batsman is presently enjoying his time out from the busy cricket life. He recently got married to actress Anushka Sharma. But Kohli would be looking forward to taking the field ahead of the challenging tour to South Africa and would be rearing to carry on his consistency and the peak form the batsman is will be fearing the opposition too.

These things aspire him to be designed to break all the batting records set by some of the best of the sport. The legendary fast bowler mentioned that the Indian captain is capable enough to get the better of all the batting records in the coming years if he maintains his fitness and focus.

“The way he is maintaining his fitness and the way he enjoys his game and focusses on his skill level, I think he is destined to break all batting records in the years to come. The way I see it he should go on to achieve a lot of batting records,” said Younis as quoted by IBTimes.
