David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd, the former England batsmen and now a well-respected commentator, imitated Pakistan skipper Misbah ul Haq’s delightful century celebration in the 2nd day morning. David Lloyd, who is part of the Sky Sports commentary team, decided the imitate Misbah’s headline creating act after giving his views on the state of the pitch and conditions before the start of play.

Lloyd did not hesitate to take up the challenge and smoothly performed the push-ups, showing how it is done. He looked quite used to doing this stuff as he continued after going past the count of 10 unshakably. This caught Misbah’s attention quickly who came in to ask the enthusiastic veteran stop.

It was great to see the 69-year-old young man going on and on. This can perhaps put several young men to shame. Keep going strong ‘Bumble.’

Earlier, in his blog, Lloyd praised Misbah’s effort and called him the glue of the team.

“It was a terrific knock from the captain,” said Lloyd. “I’m going to call him 42 years young. He has been the glue of the team.

Talking about the pitch assessment, Lloyd has a unique style of that too. He is famous for imitation former England fast bowling legend Fred Truman.

Pakistan finishes Day one on a steady note. The scoreboard read 282/6 with Misbah-ul-Haq dominating the opposition with his masterful 110 off 178 balls. The century was special for him and Pakistan in a couple of ways.

He became the first 42-plus aged player to feature in a Test match in last 20 years. He also became only the third Pakistan captain to score a century in his maiden Test innings in England. Hanif Mohammad and Javed Miandad were the others.
