Watch: Five year old kid shows how to play proper cricket shots

There are some things that can happen only in India. Who would have thought that a five-year-old kid will take a bat and hit the cricket shots with perfection? Days after the videos of a five-year-old boy playing for Delhi U14 emerged on the social media, here comes another one. The kid in the video is seen walking into the nets for a practice session.

He walks in with confidence and is accompanied by his coach perhaps. The kind of confidence that he is brewing up with is commendable. He is seen playing a range of shots. There is no doubt that the parents of the young kid are grooming him to be a face in the team India. The flair with which he plays the shots is awe inspiring in itself.

A flock of crowd gathers around him soon to watch the little wonder bat. Most kids of his age like to play. This kid, though, has taken up professional cricket as his game. He can barely walk comfortably in the entire cricket gear. The thigh pad became his chest guard on the occasion. A baby sized willow which looks perfect for a batsman his height was his weapon in the nets.

He found it hard to balance his body weight in the initial part of the session. That was largely due to the excessive protection gear that he sported. The shots, however, were spot on right from the word go. As he played a few shots and got some from the middle of the bat, his confidence grew and so did his batting stance and composure.

Well, truth be told, if young kids like him continue to take up the sport at such young age, India will surely have some young heroes in the time to come.
