Watch: James Faulkner Helps Virat Kohli Get back to his feet

Matches between Australia and India always produce feisty encounters. Especially, with the Indians playing down-under, the aggression has of the team has been taken up a notch. This series also has witnessed its fair share of sledging from both sides. The incident between Virat Kohli and Aussie skipper Steve Smith is a perfect illustration of the aforementioned comment.

However, apart from all the sledging and the cloud of negativity surrounding the two sides, there have also been a few acts of goodwill. India’s stellar batting performance in the 2^nd T20 International saw them not only pick up a much needed 27 run win, but also the series.

In a rather ironical contrast to the first T20, Virat Kohli was involved once again in an on-field activity. This time however, instead of a needless sledge, Virat Kohli was involved in an act of goodwill with Australian pacer James Faulkner. Completing a quick run towards the non-striker’s end, Kohli appeared to have taken a tumble as he reached the safety line. In a wonderful act of sportsmanship, James Faulkner helped Virat Kohli back to his feet as the lanky pacer made his way back to his bowling marker.

The twist will certainly go on to change the pre-existing impression of the aggressive Aussies. The Indians who clinched the series on Friday will be eager to meet Australia in the 3^rd and final T20 match at the SCG. While the depleted Aussies will be playing for pride, the Indians will be looking to finish their tour on a winning note.
