Having lost the first Test to South Africa in Cape Town, Team India is trying out all possible ways to resurrect their form in the next game which begins on Saturday. They were seen training in a never-seen-before way ahead of the second Test at Centurion. Their warm-up session included all the cricketers chasing each other and exchanging napkins during their chase. Whether this was just for fun or had a deeper meaning behind it, is best known to the management.

The idea of playing the game was proposed by India’s physiotherapist, Patrick Farhart and as per reports, playing this reduces the stress level of the players. Patrick divided the bunch of boys into red and yellow teams. While half of them carried red napkin tucked in at the back of their pant, others had yellow. The cricketers were seen saving and snatching the napkin.

Expected changes in the second Test

A couple of things went against India in the first game which they lost by 72 runs, failing to chase down a target of 208. Their openers were highly disappointing and for the next game, Kohli will likely play Ajinkya Rahane over Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul over Shikhar Dhawan. Rahane has a better average overseas than at home, but his recent performances at home had come under the scanner. Vernon Philander shined with the ball, bagging six wickets in the second innings.

Also, the visitors can introduce Ishant Sharma in their pace attack for the next game, given the bouncy nature of the track in Centurion. Sharma, who does not only boast of immense experience but also of a good height, can extract more bounce for the same reason.

Virat Kohli boasts of a great record at home, but the run-machine failed to replicate his performances overseas. It will be a do-or-die game for India at Centurion, who, with one more loss, will lose the Test series.
