Watch: Vintage duo of Sachin-Sehwag recreates history in All Stars league: New York witnessed some historic moments, as 22 legends took the field for the first All Stars T20 match.

Daniel Vettori castled Virender Sehwag’s stumps, as blasters were 2 down for 85 on the board.
Apart from the duo, Shaun Pollock played a cameo while Carl Hooper chipped in with fruitful contributions.
Shane Warne scalped VVS Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara’s wickets, and Andrew Symonds chipped in with 2 blows.
The target of 141 seemed like a challenging one, with Shoaib Akhtar, Allan Donald, Ambrose and Pollock in the ranks. Matthew Hayden got out to Shoaib Akhtar, while Jacques Kallis fell short of his crease.
Kumar Sangakkara’s 41 off 29 balls, along with 3 sixes and 2 boundaries were vital, as Ricky Ponting did the rest with a match winning 48 not out. With 6 runs to win from 17 balls, Jonty Rhodes recalled all the good times by hitting a lolly from Tendulkar to the stands.
Warriors won the match by 6 wickets and took a 1-0 lead going into the second game of the 3 match series.
