'We are Indians and we will talk in Hindi only' - Irritated Rohit Sharma to fans on Instagram
Rohit Sharma went live with Bumrah on Instagram on Wednesday.
The Coronavirus pandemic has given a forced but much-needed break to the Indian cricketers from their hectic schedule. They are spending some precious time with their families at the moment and are also interacting with the fans as and when possible. On Wednesday, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah went live on Instagram to chat and the fans enjoyed their conversation a lot.
During the live session, the duo spoke about their teammates and the Indian Premier League (IPL) which has been postponed until April 15 as of now. Both Rohit and Bumrah play for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the cash-rich league and have been the vital cogs of the franchise over the years.
Coming back to the live session between the two, Rohit Sharma got irritated after the fans urged them to speak in Hindi. India’s limited-overs vice-captain wasn’t impressed with the comments and iterated that they are Indians and will speak in Hindi itself. “They are saying speak in English, no we are Indians we will be speaking in Hindi only,” the 32-year-old told Bumrah.
Bumrah, speaking on the same, went on to say that the fans would have told to speak in Hindi if they had started their conversation in English at the first place.
