'We're both fuc**d up if this gets out' - Text exchanges between Tim Paine and his woman colleague that led to his resignation
Tim Paine even stepped down as the captain of the Australian Test team due to these messages coming to the forefront.
The text exchanges between Tim Paine and his Tasmanian woman colleague that took place in 2017 have hogged the spotlight in the world of cricket. Paine even stepped down as the captain of the Australian Test team due to these messages coming to the forefront.
Paine had sent the picture of a di*k to his colleague along with several other sexually explicit messages. Paine also knew the consequences of his actions as well. In fact, his woman colleague texted him that both of them would be fuck*d up if these private messages got leaked.
Paine sent the picture of his penis to his colleague and added ‘True so fuck*d’. The woman then resigned from her post the following year as she was offended by Paine’s sexual messages. She even complained about Paine’s behaviour to the authorities as well.

I deeply regret this incident: Tim Paine
Tim Paine revealed that he deeply regrets the exchanges that took place between his woman colleague and himself. The Aussie cricketer also added that he is grateful for the support extended to him by his family, and concluded by stating that his conduct does not befit the captain of the Australian cricket team.
“I was involved in a texting exchange with a woman colleague. At the time the exchange was subject to investigation. I deeply regret this incident. I spoke to my wife and family and I am enormously grateful for their forgiveness and support.
However, I recently became aware that this private text exchange was going to become public. On reflection, my actions in 2017 do not meet the standard of an Australian cricket captain,” said Paine in his statement.
Australia will take on England in the high-profile Ashes series, which will get underway on 8th December 2021. Pat Cummins is touted as the man who will replace Paine as the skipper of the Aussie Test team.
