The Chennai-based franchise has won 117 matches and lost 77 encounters. One of their games was abandoned as well. The most successful team Mumbai Indians have a winning percentage of 58.52 as they occupy the second spot. The team has contested in 217 matches, winning 127 and losing 90. This also includes the results of the tied matches which took place over the years in India’s most entertaining T20 league.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have qualified for playoffs six out of the nine seasons
Sunrisers Hyderabad has been one of the most consistent sides in the IPL since they first played in the tournament in the year 2013. The Orange army has qualified for the playoffs six times out of the nine seasons they played. In their very first season, they made it to the final four. The side lifted their maiden trophy in the year 2016 under the leadership of David Warner by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the finals in Bangalore.
Since then, they made it to semis each and every time barring the last season of 2021. They progressed to the playoffs for five consecutive seasons between 2016 to 2020.
Two times champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) sit on the third spot for a winning percentage of 51.67%. The Knight Riders have lifted the trophy twice in the years 2012 and 2014. SRH are at the fourth position for a winning percentage of 50. The top five list concludes with the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) who have a percentage of 49.71%.
