The World Cup-winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is stealing hearts on social media with pictures from his Dubai trip. Singh was seen posing in front of the iconic Burj Khalifa, and netizens are showering him with all the love. He was dressed in a casual white t-shirt and rugged blue denim, which marked his cool fashion statement. He posted some selfies and pictures with famous places in the background, and his colleagues in the cricket world have come up with their comments.
Former English batsman and his great friend, Kevin Pietersen, has reacted to his photos and wrote- “why you so cute?” Yuvraj’s wife also joined in the comments section and praised him by adding, “Hi Handsome.” India’s former star spinner and his teammate, Harbhajan Singh was also impressed with his photoshoot and added in Punjabi. “Paji thid aa.”
Yuvraj Singh bowed out of the international formats of cricket last year, but the phenomenal all-rounder had some change of mind later. He announced in September that he will mark his presence in competitive cricket and will be up in domestic T20s for Punjab state. Yuvraj has been known for his efforts of working with youngsters in the state.
Yuvraj Singh mentored Shubman Gill last season
He mentored young talent Shubman Gill during the last domestic season. The Punjab man accepted the fact that he is missing competitive cricket action and is falling in love again with the thought of middling the ball. In the month of August this year, secretary of Punjab Cricket Association Puneet Bali urged the all-rounder to come back from his retirement. He asked him if he could work with the young talents as player cum-mentor for the side for the coming domestic season.
The 38-year-old confirmed that he would be providing his service in a dual role for Punjab and will decide further on his future after the next domestic T20 season. He was also stepping to ply his trade in Big Bash League and other T20 leagues, but his decision to come back from the retirement zone has changed things. For now, he cannot feature in foreign franchise based leagues in their action.
