It was a memorable outing for the Men in Blue in the fifth T20I against West Indies in Florida as they clinched an 88-run victory and won the series by 4-1. Despite several players being unavailable, India managed to dominate West Indies, except for just the one T20I that they lost in St. Kitts.

After the first game was played in Trinidad, the next two were played in St. Kitts which was followed by the final two games in Florida, both of which India won. After India’s emphatic series win, Rohit Sharma and his men hopped on a golf cart, driven by the skipper himself, as the team members went on a ride in the stadium as a gesture toward the fans in Florida who came to support them.

In a video that has gone viral, skipper Rohit is seen driving the golf cart, while Rishabh Pant and Ishan Kishan sat beside him. Axar Patel and Sanju Samson stood on the two entrances and balanced themselves during the ride, whereas Dinesh Karthik, Deepak Hooda, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravi Bishnoi, and Suryakumar Yadav either stood or sat in the back of the cart.

The Indian team rode on their spinners’ shoulders

Speaking of the final game, India completely dominated the West Indies as the Caribbean side never looked like they could pull off the cross the line comfortably. Skipper Rohit opted to sit out of the game, and the captaincy charge was given to Hardik Pandya.

India’s eighth opening pair this year was seen in the form of Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer. While the former perished quickly, the latter led his way from the front and ended up scoring a 40-ball 64. Deepak Hooda assisted him well with a cameo of 38 runs which was studded with three fours and two sixes.

The middle order somehow managed to hold the game together and ended up posting 188 runs on board. But during the second innings, Indian spinners dominated the show. Kuldeep Yadav, who found his way back into the blues, returned with an impressive spell of 3/12 in four overs, and Axar Patel registered similar numbers, picking three wickets and conceding 15 runs. But Bishnoi was the star of the show as he picked four big wickets in just the 16 balls that he delivered, giving away 16 runs.
