Wishes flood in as Harbhajan Singh turns 36
Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh celebrates his 36th birthday today. Though he isn’t a part of the Indian Test team that tours West Indies, the offie has always been in the scheme of things. With 417 Test wickets, he is just behind the new Indian head coach Anil Kumble and World Cup winning skipper Kapil Dev on the leading Indian wicket takers list.
He has had an illustrious career where he has featured in 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is for India with an aggregate of 711 wickets in international cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar posted a pic of the two from the Mumbai Indians dressing room with a caption – ‘Happy birthday Bhajji! May God bless you with good health and happiness. Have a great year buddy! @harbhajan_singh’
Virat also wished Bhajji and wrote – ‘Happy Birthday @harbhajan_singh paaji. God bless you have a great year ahead. Cheers :)’

The Indian head coach Anil Kumble had a message for him. Kumble said, “Bhajji all the very best, happy birthday, have a wonderful day and great year ahead. I know you are one year older but you will always remain young. Enjoy!”
Viru paji said, ‘Happy birthday to the one and only @harbhajan_singh. Best wishes Bhajji from all of India.’
