Women’s T20I tri-series in Ireland 2022: Squads, Schedule, Live Streaming, Broadcast details & All you need to know

Ireland, Australia, and Pakistan are all set to play in the Women’s T20I tri-series, where the three nations will face each other twice. All six games are scheduled at the Bready Cricket Club in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The games will benefit world champions Australia, and even Pakistan, as the two sides gear up for the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

While Pakistan and Ireland have recently been part of a few international games, this will be Australia’s first outing ever since the completion of the ODI World Cup in April 2022. At the conclusion of the round-robin matches, the team with the highest ranking will win the trophy. The Meg Lanning-led Australia will be the favourites while walking into the series, given the vast experience that the players carry.

On the other side, Bismah Maroof would be in charge of Pakistan. Recently, they played a limited-overs series against Sri Lanka and emerged victorious. They swept the three-match T20I series, and then won the ODI series by 2-1. After that victory, Pakistan will feel confident and will try to replicate its success in the forthcoming tri-series. As for Ireland, they recently faced the South African side in a bilateral series but unfortunately lost the T20I series by 2-1 and the ODI series by 3-0.
