World Cup 2019: Team India's first choice playing XI
Team India will play the first game against South Africa on June 5th.
10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Another one of the quality fast bowlers who isn’t in the best of form is Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who failed to create an impact on the Sunrisers Hyderabad side this season the way he did in 2016 and 2017. He has been bowling economically, but his inability to pick wickets at regular intervals is a spot of bother.
Having said that, he will remain India’s number one choice to partner Jasprit Bumrah. He has a fantastic record in this format of the game and has proven in the past how good he can be in the death overs. If there are some clouds around, it will get even more difficult to tackle his spell with the new ball and the fans would want him to rejuvenate as soon as possible.
