World T20 2016: Sri Lanka v Afghanistan – Statistical Highlights

Defending champions Sri Lanka started off with a win against the qualifier team of Group A, Afghanistan at the Eden Garden, Kolkata. After electing to bat, Afghans were 4 down for 47 at the halfway stage. But a superb knock from captain Asghar which was supported by Samiullah and lower order batsmen helped them to post a total of 153/7 in 20 overs.

Later a composed knock from Tillakaratne Dilshan helped the Sri Lankans to start off the chase well.
