Be it taking sly digs at Michael Vaughan, or appreciating the Indian men’s and women’s teams, Wasim Jaffer surely knows how to keep his fans and followers entertained by constantly posting tweets on his official Twitter account. The former India opening batter is at it yet again and this time he has posted an interesting tweet related to the match situation from the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final between India and New Zealand.

Action resumed on day five of the marquee clash as India managed to dismiss the Kiwis for 249. It was a gripping day of Test cricket which kept the fans hooked onto the screens for all three sessions. The pendulum swung to and fro with New Zealand inching ahead a bit after getting the prized scalp of Rohit Sharma for 30 runs.

Naturally, Jaffer too was glued to the intriguing battle between the top teams and later summed up the match situation perfectly with a hilarious tweet and captioned it by saying, “Relatable much?”

WTC Final tantalizingly poised with New Zealand marginally ahead

Tim Southee dismissed Sharma just before the end of play on day five with India managing 64 runs with the loss of two wickets. The match will go into the sixth day (June 23 being the reserve day) with all hopes pinned on India’s two experienced batters Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara.

Although a draw seems the most likely result, cricket is a funny game and you never know which result could be achieved. While India will look to bat their opponents out of the contest, the Kiwis will aim to strike early in the first session and try to put some pressure on the Indian batting line-up.

The first hour will be very crucial for both the teams as to which way the contest might go. If the match ends in a draw, then the trophy will be shared by both teams. This will be just the second instance if it happens, as India and Sri Lanka shared the honors in the ICC Champions trophy way back in 2002 which was held in Sri Lanka.
