Taylor is one of the best number four batters the world has ever seen and his numbers tell the story in both the Test and ODI formats. The right-hander played 112 Tests, 236 ODIs, and 102 T20Is for his country since making his debut in 2006 and scored more than 18,000 international runs across formats.

There was some wait to play his last international game, and the cricketing fraternity poured in their wishes for the 38-year-old on his fantastic career. Jason Holder, the third-ranked Test all-rounder, shared a heartfelt message in a video for Taylor after the latter played his last international game.
