One of the best batters to have ever stepped onto the cricket field, Virat Kohli is an inspiration to many and his fan following across the globe is nothing but massive. He also has a lot of fans in Pakistan despite the 33-year-old not playing a single match in the Asian nation to date. Moreover, India and Pakistan are arch-rivals and Kohli, on several occasions, has given Pakistan bowlers a tough time.

However, this didn’t restrict Kohli from getting love from India’s neighbouring nation. Speaking of the latest incidence, a Pakistan fan gave a heartwarming message to the Indian batter amid his rough patch in recent times. This happened during the ongoing second Test between Pakistan and Australia at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Virat Kohli’s last international century was recorded in November 2019

Notably, Kohli hasn’t scored an international century since November 2019. He has also earned a fair bit of criticism for the same. However, this fan vowed to support the veteran batter regardless of his performances. “Dear Virat! Whether you score a century or not, you’ll always be my hero,” read the messaged on the placard flaunted by the Pakistan fan.

The image went viral in no time and became a talking point among netizens. Meanwhile, this is not the first occasion of a Pakistan fan showering love on Kohli in the ongoing series. The first Test, which took place in Rawalpindi and ended in a dull draw, saw a spectator urging the Indian batter to slam his much-awaited 71st international ton on Pakistan soil.

Speaking of Kohli’s on-field assignments, the 33-year-old is currently plying his trade in the ongoing second Test match between India and Sri Lanka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The Indian skipper did showcase resilience on a tough track but fell prey to Dhananjaya de Silva after scoring 23. However, the hosts are all but likely to bat one more time in Bangalore and the former Indian skipper would like to make a substantial contribution.
