Young Bloods - 10 Possible Legends of the Upcoming Era
10. Jos Buttler (England):
The current vice-captain of the England ODI team, Jos made his senior club debut at a tender age of 15. He made his ODI debut in 2012 and T20 debut in 2011 against India. In the final T20 game against South Africa in the series in 2012, Joe Buttler joined hands with Craig Kieswetter to smash the African bowling and added 52 runs of the last 16 balls of the innings. On the way to the partnership, he hit 32 runs in an over of Wayne Parnell, the second highest off an over in T20 cricket. By then, he had started to show the glimpses of a destructive batsman and he strengthened this impression even further by scoring 47 from just 16 balls in a 50 over match against New Zealand in 2013. He subsequently played many such blasting innings, though not so frequently. But his crisp batting technique supplemented by his strong wicket-keeping skills suggested that he is one of the new talents to watch for.
