8th June 2019, Hisar, Haryana – The Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP), launched the next of its chain of academies in Hisar, which is inaugurated by ace cricketer Yusuf Pathan, a big name in the cricket industry. Also present at the press conference was Mr. Harmeet Vasdev, Managing Director (CAP). This is the 2nd academy launched by CAP in Haryana. The academy is known to be the first of its kind in Hisar.

Before the venture by CAP, there was no structured academy in the area or around/nearby it, which was further being toxic to the dreams of young minds who intended to play for the country and win laurels for the pride of the nation. However, the problems stand eradicated from the roots now, since the Pathan brothers promote not just talent but also aim to offer professional help akin to qualified coaches, quality equipment, and world-class training with all the prerequisites.

CAP is currently nurturing talent in sixteen cities, which include Ranchi, Mainpuri, Ludhiana, Delhi, Kota, Patna, Morbi, Noida, Bengaluru, Rajkot, Surat, Sonipat, Port Blair, and Lunawada.

Recently 30 students have already been selected to play at district and state levels along with 2 students getting selected by Kolkata Knight Riders to bowl at the net sessions in Eden Gardens during this season’s IPL. Trials for scholarships are also in full swing, aiming to aid the talented with the right resources.

CAP seems to move the required step in the right direction and is also known for transforming raw talent into players who were later selected to play at a district level/state level.

The academy, along with its partners has decided to invest the sum amount of 2 crores for the betterment and nourishment of the talent in the field of cricket. It now plans to expand its horizons to other cities, including Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. CAP was launched nearly two years back, being backed by the Pathan brothers, Irfan and Yusuf.
