Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech reveal their quirky wedding invitation

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is all set to tie the knot with Bollywood actress Hazel Keech next month after dating her more than a year. The couple got engaged in Bali in April this year in a private ceremony and they broke the news to the world on social media, sharing a beautiful picture of them together.

The couple and their family is leaving no stone unturned as far as the wedding is concerned. Punjabi wedding are always special and colorful. And, a glimpse of the bubbly couple is personality is also visible in the wedding cards which has a quirky look and bears a cricket-humour theme.

Designers Sandy and Kapil Khurana have left no stones unturned to make the grand wedding an even more memorable one. With just days left for the auspicious occasion, the preparations are in full swing. The invitation is named as “‘Yuvraj and Hazel Premier League.’ Loving it, sirji!”  The face of the wedding cards consists of caricatures of the cricketer and his fiancé making humorous statements.

The designers state that the couple wanted to do something special and humorous and so the duo came up with this unique idea. “They wanted to do something different and fun, so the invite will feature both of them and there will be a lot of cartoons and illustrations,” said the designers.

The preparations are going on in full swing. The couple will follow proper Hindu traditions and rituals. Yuvraj and Hazel will also have a gurudwara wedding in Chandigarh on November 30. Soon, the lovebirds will even have yet another wedding in Goa on December 2.

Yuvraj and Hazel’s friends from Mumbai are expected to attend the special occasion. The sangeet and reception function will be held in Delhi on December 5 and 7 respectively. Yuvraj and Hazel’s sangeet will be near Chattarpur and their reception will be at a city hotel.

Regarding the attractive wedding cards, designer Kapil Khurana said, “We are going with the same concept for the Goa wedding invites also. But since the Chandigarh wedding will be traditional, the card is white with gold embossing.”

To make things even more special, the bride and the groom have personally selected the wedding ‘mithais’ and ‘gifts.’

The couple got engaged in Bali and kept it a low-key affair, wherein their family and close friends were around. “You get married only once. A wedding is an occasion you want to celebrate with everyone. We were always sure we wanted to invite everyone to the wedding. It will be a three-four day affair. We will have a couple of events to make sure all my cricketer friends get to attend them. Preparations are in full swing,” said Yuvraj.
