Yuvraj Singh chases BCCI to recover dues worth Rs 3 Crore
Yuvraj Singh sustained an injury during the World T20 last year.
Out of favor Indian middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh is arguably at the fag end of his career. Apart from trying to make a return into the national side, Yuvraj is also chasing the BCCI officials to get his dues. As per reports, the amount is somewhere close to Rs 3 crore. It is also believed that the matter has gone so far that the cricketer’s mother Shabnam is also trying to reach out to the officials.
Yuvraj is supposed to get the compensation amount for missing out on the first half of the last edition of the IPL. The southpaw suffered from an ankle injury while representing India at the 2016 World Cup. Since the BCCI insures contracts of all the Indian cricketers playing in the IPL, a player who fails to represent his franchise due to an injury sustained while playing for India will get compensation for the loss in income.
