Manish Pandey, the Indian middle-order batsman, entered the wedlock with actress Ashrita Shetty on Monday, December 2. The wedding ceremony took place in Mumbai a day after Pandey captained Karnataka to a one-run victory against Tamil Nadu in the final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy. Hence, it won’t be wrong in saying that Pandey is going through a purple patch.

A number of popular personalities graced their presence in Pandey and Ashrita’s wedding. His wife has quite a few years of experience in the film industry. The 26-year-old has mostly featured in Tamil films. She rose to fame after working in Udhayam NH4 alongside Siddharth. Then she went on to ply her trade in Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum and Indrajith among other films.

Yuvraj Singh was among the renowned figures, who attended the wedding ceremony. Yuvraj is generally a happy-go-lucky individual. The southpaw, who retired from international cricket earlier this year, hails from Chandigarh in Punjab where the dance form, Bhangra, is pretty renowned.

Being a Punjabi, he didn’t shy away from hitting the dance floor and he pulled off the moves with grace and elegance. Manish Pandey also came and accompanied him. The duo was seen, setting the dance stage on fire. The person, who was playing the Dhol, also looked in a jolly mood.

Yuvraj doing well in T10 League

After bidding adieu to international cricket, the 38-year-old Yuvraj is currently busy weaving his magic in leagues around the globe. Back in July-August, he played for the Toronto Nationals in the second edition of the Global Canada T20. Last month, the veteran Yuvraj went to Abu Dhabi where he plied his craft for the Maratha Arabians in the third edition of the T10 League.

Coming to Pandey, he scored a 45-ball 60, helping his team to 180 in the SMAT final. At the fag end of the run-chase, he pulled off a strong throw to get rid of Vijay Shankar, who could’ve run away with the game. It was after the wedding when Pandey confirmed about his wedding. He has now been picked to play in the T20I and ODI series versus the West Indies, set to start on December 6.
