Yuvraj Singh, the Indian all-rounder has tweeted a heart-warming message on the eve of run-machine and the Indian captain’s birthday. Virat Kohli has spent a decade in international cricket and has already established himself as one of the best batsmen and a legend in the game.

He has established himself as a prodigy in limited overs matches, amassing 10000 runs in ODI cricket. He crossed the 10000-run mark in one-dayers in October 2018, becoming the fastest man to do so. He eclipsed Sachin Tendulkar to achieve the feat, doing it 54 innings fewer than him. Kohli is ranked the number one batsman in one-day cricket at present.
Virat Kohli’s ability in Test cricket, at present, is second to none. In 73 Tests, the 30-year old has racked up over 6000 runs at an average of just under 55 with 24 centuries. He is currently the no. 1 Test batsman in the ICC rankings, taking over from Steve Smith in August 2018. In the shortest format, he has played 62 fixtures at an average of just below 50 with 90* as his highest score.
