Yuzvendra Chahal trolled by Danielle Wyatt after he posts a picture of batting in the nets
Chahal entered the record books after scoring 18 runs off 37 balls in the fourth ODI between India and New Zealand.
Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the best spinners in the world right now. The leg-spinner has gone from strength to strength since being added to the ODI and T20I team in 2017. Team India pinned their hopes on him and Kuldeep Yadav after dropping Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja and both have exceeded all the expectations thus far.
Unlike most of his predecessors, Chahal has delivered almost everywhere irrespective of the conditions. He has already proved himself in South Africa, England, Australia, and New Zealand in addition to doing really well at home. And unlike most of his predecessors, Chahal also takes his batting seriously. While bowlers do not really take their batting seriously, Chahal looks like an exception.
Earlier this year, he entered the record books after scoring 18 runs off 37 balls in the fourth ODI between India and New Zealand. He became only the second batsman to top score in a match for India while batting at the number 10 or a lower position. His unbeaten 18 is second to only Javagal Srinath‘s 43 against Pakistan in 1996 which came while batting at number 10.
Yuzvendra Chahal trolled for his batting
That Yuzvendra Chahal takes his batting really seriously was once again proved by his latest Instagram post. The spinner took to the social media platform to tell his fans how he was focusing on his batting ahead of the first T20I against West Indies. He posted a picture of himself batting in the nets while writing:
“Enjoying my day out in the nets”
And as expected, there were some hilarious reactions as most of his followers tried to pull his legs. One of them was none other than England women team’s star Danielle Wyatt who is best known for giving a marriage proposal to India skipper Virat Kohli. She too decided to have some fun at the expense of the India spinner as she wrote: “Bowled”
