The third and final ODI of the India tour of Zimbabwe is set to kick off in Harare on August 22. India have already clinched the series, winning the first two games. The visitors secured a comprehensive 10-wicket win in the first ODI, chasing a target of 190 as Deepak Chahar, after his return from an injury, picked up three wickets and won the Player of the Match.

In the second ODI, India chased a target of 162 in 25.4 overs with five wickets in hand. Shardul Thakur starred with the ball, bagging three wickets for 38 runs in seven overs. Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 43 runs off 39 balls and helped India go past the finishing line. Zimbabwe would look to end the series on a good note and get a win on board.

Pitch Conditions

As it was seen in the first two ODIs, the Harare Sports Club offered a lot of assistance for fast bowlers with swing and movement of the surface. India won the toss in both the games and went on to restrict the hosts to less than 200. Batting was not easy for both teams in the two matches, and yet again, it would be ideal to bowl first.
