For New Zealand, Mitchell Santner has been the go-to man as he is an efficient spinner and a handy lower-order batter. But he hasn’t been able to find his place in the CSK playing 11. He played only six matches for Chennai despite being in the squad for two years.

He is a mainstream player for the Black Caps and his performances are impressive for his national side. He can give breakthroughs with the ball and can do hard-hitting too.

Chennai already has their lower order sorted. But Santner will be a great option as an overseas all-rounder for any team. So Santner will be happy to find a team that needs him.
