The Tamil Nadu batsman was the highest run-scorer in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020-21. He currently plays for Chennai Super Kings. He is a top-order batsman and plays spin very well.

He played a huge role to make Tamil Nadu champions in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. As a middle-order batsman, he can strike the ball and can even make good partnerships.

As Chennai’s team is completely sorted, it’s difficult for Jagadeesan to find his place there. Whereas getting a young talented batsman is profitable for any franchise. Jagadeesan might get more opportunities with a 10-team IPL.
