Not long ago in IPL 2019, Shivam Dube had initially started his IPL journey with the RCB franchise. The all-rounder was picked for INR 5 Crores but unfortunately could only manage to play only 4 games in his debut season. However, the Mumbai cricketer could only fetch 129 runs from his 11 games at a dreadful average of 18.42 in 2020 season and his strike-rate was also not great.

However, a cease from the RCB team then made him become part of the RR franchise wherein the poor show has still continued. In the first leg of IPL 2021, the all-rounder scored a total of 145 runs from his 6 games but his strike rate did sink at 117.88. In fact, with the RR team facing an ordeal with his lower middle-order batting, Dube’s overall average of 24.16 can be called subservient in totality.

All in all, to sum up, Dube has only somehow managed to score 314 runs at an average of 19.62 in 21 IPL games. Even his overall strike rate so far only stands at 120.30. Hence, by enduring a spree of breakdowns and impairments, Shivam Dube might fail to bag any contract in the upcoming next season.
