When one hears of Ranchi, there is and will be only one name that would define the city. The most successful skipper for the Indian team, MS Dhoni, walked up from the city of Ranchi and marked his name in record books of world cricket. His game, captaincy style, and presence were the basis for the team to thrive for the best.

His stature and influence in world cricket made Ranchi and the whole state, big fan of the game. People also turn in huge numbers whenever a game is conducted in this state. As per some reports, the business giants of the state are keen on buying an IPL team in near future.

Yes, the Tatas have shown their inclination for investing in an IPL franchise. If this comes out to be true, many young players would get a chance to showcase their talent. An IPL team from a relatively backward area of India would really be a bright chance for more and more cricket to take on from MS Dhoni’s state.
