Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq celebrated his century by doing a series of 10 push-ups during the 1s Test against England at Lord’s very recently. Misbah became the oldest man in the history of Test cricket to score a century.

His century was dedicated to all those present at the army camp where Misbah and his boys spent two weeks training before they flew off to England.

“That was my promise to the army guys when we did our training camp,” he said. “We used to have an honour code where we were told to step into the ground and do ten push ups. I promised them whenever I got hundred I would do that to remind them (Army) we were there. That was for them and the salute was for the (Pakistan) flag. That was what they asked us to do so I did it for them,” the Pakistan captain stated.

After Pakistan’s win at Lord’s the whole team followed Misbah and did a series of 10 push-ups as a celebratory jig. The skipper clarified that it wasn’t done to hurt England’s feelings.
