Although many remember Phillip Hughes as the cricketer who died on the field, the youngster had done many commendable things in a very short span. He scored a hundred on his ODI debut, became the youngest in history to score twin-hundreds in Test cricket and also became the first Aussie to score a List-A double hundred.

The southpaw had a thing or two about him which attracted the audience very much. He was picked up by the Mumbai Indians in 2011 after some impressive performances in the domestic circuit. Despite not getting a game, he made his mark among some of the senior cricketers.

Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh, former MI cricketers, fondly remembered how hard he used to work in the nets at the time of his passing. Hughes passed away on 27th November 2014 after battling for two days in the hospital.
