Alex Hales has made it into the team after a successful season with his county side Nottinghamshire. The selectors have shown faith in him and if his current batting form, is something to trust upon, he can surely become the X factor in the batting line-up. He has the experience of playing for England in ODIs and that should give him the confidence of translating similar performance in the Tests as well. Though he is inexperienced as far as the Test cricket is concerned but has shown that he has the potential to deliver for England with the bat.
