World number one bowler in One Day Internationals and the world number one bowler in T20 internationals as well. That would have been enough for anyone to get a buyer in the IPL player’s auction. But that was not the case for this South African spin maestro.

Imran Tahir, without a doubt, has been in great form. He has performed very well against the Black Caps as well as the Sri Lankans. He was based at a price of 50 Lakh which is fairly low if compared to his achievements. Never the less, this enthusiastic player was not wanted by any of the franchise it also had to do with the fact that he tends to be expensive at times and wouldn’t have been available for the entire tournament.
