5 in-form domestic players who may get an India call-up soon
These players have impressed in the domestic arena with their consistent performances.
Abhimanyu Easwaran
Abhimanyu Easwaran is one of the most consistent all-format batsmen going around in the Indian domestic circuit at the moment. The Bengal cricketer has been accumulating the runs over the last few seasons in domestic cricket. Be it for India ‘A’ or Bengal, Easwaran has performed consistently.
The top-order batsman has an average nearing 50 in both first-class and List ‘A’ cricket. In the longest form, Easwaran averages 48.91 while he averages 49.18 in the 50-over format. There is often a lot of talk about Easwaran, the red-ball batsman but he is an underrated white-ball batsman.
In fact, he has a strike-rate of 131.19 in T20 cricket. Easwaran hasn’t had the best of times in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament but he’s shown glimpses of his form. In the 50-over tournament, the 24-year-old averaged 45.16.
