Chris Lynn came into the 2021 PSL on the back of some stupendous shows for the Brisbane Heat in the 2020-21 Big Bash League (BBL). However, he failed to replicate the same in the PSL as he managed 34 runs in four games for Multan Sultans at a disastrous average of 8.50.

The Queensland-born batter made amends to some extent after he notched 32 runs off 14 balls against the Karachi Kings. Lynn hasn’t had luck going in his favour in the IPL as well. After warming the bench for the entire season in 2020, he made his debut for the Mumbai Indians (MI).

In the first game of IPL 2021 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) he scored 49 runs at a strike rate of 140. However, after wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock completed his quarantine period, Lynn had to go back to the benches.
