5 Indian players from West Indies T20I series who might not get picked for T20 World Cup 2022
The management has been trying out permutations and combinations, which might also lead to many players missing out.
5. Ishan Kishan
The prolific opening batter, Ishan Kishan, has been sidelined off late. Once a regular in the side in the top-order, during the time he made his debut, the southpaw hasn’t been given many chances lately. India has been tinkering with the playing combinations, and as a result, many players have emerged as contenders for the opening spot.
KL Rahul has recovered from his injury and will be back with the Indian side anytime soon. With a jam-packed top order consisting of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Rahul, Kishan’s place in the squad has blurred.
He has had a decent outing recently, and as mentioned above, he has also missed out on opportunities as the Indian management kept changing the playing combination. Thus, it will be a challenge for the youngster to leave a mark in the limited time period.
