There was a point when Rilee Rossouw’s international career was on the rise. He was slowly becoming one of South Africa’s mainstays in white-ball cricket. In a little over two years, the left-handed middle-order batsman had played 36 ODIs and 15 T20Is for the Proteas.

However, in 2016, he took the Kolpak route and gave up on his international career. He has been playing for Hampshire since then. He has also been actively playing T20 cricket around the world. Before he went the Kolpak way, he was a part of RCB’s squad for a couple of seasons. But Rossouw played just five games across those two seasons and could barely make an impact.

But he had successful stints in the PSL. Playing for the Quetta Gladiators, Rossouw has had a good time in the PSL for the last three years. Only seven other players have more runs than him in the history of the tournament. Overall, he has amassed 750 runs at an average of 34.09 in the PSL.
