5 players we might see in Indian team once Rohit Sharma takes over captaincy
Rohit certainly has proven his credentials and he is most likely to captain the team in the future.
5. Rahul Chahar
Another leg-spinner who made great in-roads with the Mumbai Indians under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma is Rahul Chahar. The young leggie, also the younger brother of Deepak Chahar, has a fantastic chance of making it to the Indian side as a backup spinner. His primary battle to get picked will be against Mayank Markande, who too presents a similar case.
Chahar has a similar bowling style to Yuzvendra Chahal, who bowls slow and relies on orthodox leg-breaks to get the damage. He has the odd variations up his sleeves but likes to keep things simple. Such bowlers never go out of fashion given they’re executing their plans perfectly and Chahar has shown that potential in this season’s IPL.
