The Australian was supposed to be the part of the Rising Pune Supergiants. He was one of the few all-rounders in the team after they released Irfan Pathan and Thisara Perera. They are now left shorthanded on that front and will look to find a replacement.

Marsh suffered a shoulder injury while playing against the Indians in the Border-Gavaskar Test series. He was immediately sent home to recover from the same and will for his services for the Champions Trophy in June.
