Though very new to the international arena, Jofra Archer has to be regarded as arguably been the most active cricketer on Twitter. The guy has posted about 40,000 tweets already. The reach of his tweets is phenomenal and the speedster has covered almost every topic that might appear in a match, which becomes relevant even now.

Twitterati of the cricketing world loves to find out his old tweets and add context from the current scenario to it. On 10th December 2014, Jofra posted a tweet regarding sandpaper and how it can help the ball swing. The tweet was, “The sandpaper out? Ball swinging all of a sudden”

And what happened next, as we all know, is history. 3 years down the line, Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft were banned from all forms of international and domestic cricket for tampering the ball with sandpaper during the South Africa Test series. They were subsequently banned for a year and nine months respectively.

The above-mentioned tweet didn’t have any relation with the incident but what makes it extremely funny is that fans dug it up and retweets made it appear as if it was posted for the same occasion.
