So depressed Neesham was, that he even asked the children never to pick cricket as a profession. It is quite understandable since he had single-handedly pulled off the World Cup final for New Zealand, only to be prevented from picking the trophy due to the overthrow controversy and the rules.

The 29-year-old scored 232 runs in the tournament. Add to this, he also picked 15 wickets, most of them in tense situations where his team desperately needed wickets. Throughout the tournament, he showcased his ability to deal with the pressure situations, pulling his team out of danger more often than not.

Therefore, it is a no-brainer that all the IPL franchises would be looking to get him. He can be a finisher for any team, and also give 3-4 four overs most of the times, thereby adding depth to both the departments.
