A lot has changed in the ODI cricket in the last decade or so. From heavy bats to batting-friendly wickets the format has titled towards the batsmen. In turn, now the teams are regularly piling on record-breaking totals. It has reached to point where the 350-run mark is considered as a benchmark score in the 50-over cricket.

Especially the Indian team is making a habit of putting up 350 plus totals as they have breached the mark on 29 occasions in the last 10 years. Those numbers might please the Indian fans as they always like to see their team scoring runs. Having said that, India has also been at the receiving end of the other teams which has earned them a dreadful record.

Unfortunately, they are also the team against whom the maximum number of 350 plus totals have been scored. There have been 12 instances when the Indian bowlers have been severely punished by the opposition batsmen. Hence it will not be wrong to say that their batting strength has been concealing one of their frailties in ODI cricket.
