It was a highly memorable tournament for Mitchell Santner. He was one of the most impactful bowlers of the World T20. The Kiwi left-arm spinner was an unknown commodity before he weaved his magic against the Indians at Nagpur in the opening game of the Super 10, registering his career best figures of 4/11. He continued to have an impact on the rival batsmen and played vital role in New Zealand dominating journey till the semi-final. Santner finished with 10 wickets in 5 matches at an outstanding average of 11.40.
