Arjun Tendulkar flaunts his abs, shares his post-workout picture from UAE

Arjun Tendulkar had recently hogged attention after he was spotted with Mumbai Indians stars like Trent Boult, Rahul Chahar and James Pattinson. Arjun’s picture left fans wondering if the Mumbai franchise has signed him up for the upcoming IPL edition.

However, it was revealed that the youngster is serving as a net bowler in the UAE, helping MI batsmen to prepare for IPL 2020. Arjun, who has also represented India U19 in 2018, has travelled with the Mumbai franchise as a part of net bowlers contingent.

This isn’t the first time when Arjun has been spotted training with the Rohit Sharma-led side. He previously has been a part of MI’s practice session and has even bowled against the national side on a couple of occasions.

Earlier this week, Arjun confirmed that he has travelled to the Gulf country as a part of the MI camp. And now, he has left his fans stunned by flaunting abs in his latest social media post. Arjun shared a story on Instagram while flaunting his chiselled abs.

Mumbai Indians have four IPL titles under their belt

The sport has recently been revamped with increased fitness levels. Almost every player is now paying extra attention to his fitness and Arjun is no different. Unlike his father, Tendulkar Jr is a tall lanky pacer who can also contribute with the bat. Along with plying his trade in junior cricket, Arjun has also been a part of Mumbai T20 League. He, however, is yet to break in Team India’s senior side.

Meanwhile, defending champions Mumbai Indians are slated to take on Chennai Super Kings in the season-opener on September 19th. Arjun may be a part of MI’s net bowlers contingent but the possibility of him representing the franchise can’t be ruled out.

He wasn’t a part of IPL 2020 auction but he can still be picked by MI as a replacement player. IPL 2020 is going to be played under strict SOPs and regulations to curb the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Considering the environment under which the tournament is going to be played, the BCCI might allow franchises to sign replacement players during this year’s IPL.
