One of the most valuable limited-overs players in Indian cricket, a fine middle-order batter and an instrumental left-arm orthodox spinner, Yuvraj Singh, retired from all forms of international cricket in June 2019 and last donned the blue jersey in June 2017. He is one of the most influential players in the Indian team during the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup.

In the 2016 Asia Cup against Pakistan, Yuvraj played an important innings, as he stayed with Kohli and played the anchor role. He stayed unbeaten with 14 runs off 32 balls and steadied the ship, along with Virat Kohli, to stop a potential collapse.

Yuvraj went on to play in the 2016 T20 World Cup later that year and the Champions Trophy the following year. He even the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016 and with Mumbai Indians in 2019.
