The tournament will commence on the 27th of August and the final will be played on the 11th of September.

The Indian Cricket Team will start their campaign on the 28th of August with the game against their arch-rivals Pakistan. The game is expected to be highly tense. The matches are set to be played in Dubai and Sharjah. The teams will look up to Asia Cup as a good preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup which will take place later this year.

The Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad of the Indian Cricket Team for the tournament on Monday, the 8th of August. Avesh Khan is doing really well and is on his way to becoming a match-winner for team India. Avesh Khan is a serious talent and has been doing well in domestic cricket as well as IPL for the last few years. Avesh has played a couple of IPL seasons in UAE and he is completely aware of the conditions.

The talented pacer can prove to be an asset for team India in the future. Avesh has played 38 IPL games till now in which he has 47 wickets to his name at an average of 24.79. The Madhya Pradesh pacer made his T20I debut for India against West Indies in February 2022. He has played 13 T20Is since then claiming 11 wickets.

The 25-year-old can be a solid replacement for Jasprit Bumrah as he is known for his bowling in death overs. He has the ability to deceive the batters with his clever variations.
