The BCB was not surprized to see the security measures adopted by the Aussie team for the tour. The reason behind the same is that security was one of the primary issues of concern from the very beginning. However, a BCB official was surprised by the fact that the team is carrying a chef with them,
What the board said:
“We assume his role would be suggesting the cooks about the food preference of players in hotel and ground. It is not completely a new thing in Bangladesh though. Earlier, India team also bought a chef when they visited us,” said the official.
There have been some worrying news in the Australian camp recently when David Warner got injured during their practice match at Darwin. He was hit by a Josh Hazlewood delivery on his neck and had to be rushed off the field for treatment. However, the phase has passed and the vice captain confirmed that he is all fit and ready to take part in the Bangladesh tour.
