Match Details:

The 1st game of the 3-match T20 series between Bangladesh A Women and India A Women will be played at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium (SKICS) in Cox’s Bazar.

The match starts at 9:30 AM local time (9:00 AM IST) (4:30 AM GMT).

Preview:

India A Women have dominated the hosts throughout the One-Day series to seal a 3-0 victory. Now they look forward to doing the same in the T20 series that will begin on Friday. The margin of wins for India A in the One-Day series shows the gap between the two squads. However, the Bangladesh team has fared well in the T20 format in the last couple of years.

The Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar will be hosting this T20 series while it was the Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Cricket Stadium that hosted the One-Day series. Both the teams will travel to Sri Lanka after completion of this series. They will participate in the ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup between October 20th and 28th.

Weather Condition/Report:

Scattered thunderstorms with rain are expected in the first half of Friday. However, the forecast looks clear from the afternoon and hence we could have a reduced game.

Pitch Condition/Report:

Cox’s Bazar is a decent venue in terms of producing big scores. However, the records of the venue is masked by the difference of quality of two teams playing in a game. We can expect totals around 140 regularly in Women’s T20s here.
