Bangladesh vs Pakistan, 3rd T20I, Match Preview, Playing XI and broadcast details
Bangladesh's pride and Mahmudullah's captaincy at stake ahead of the dead rubber against Pakistan.
Pakistan and Bangladesh are all set to go against each other in a dead rubber when they clash in the third and the final T20I match on November 22nd, 2021. Pakistan has already won the series as a result of winning the first two matches.
First up, Babar Azam and co. continued their good form in the shortest format after they lost the semi-final of the Men’s T20 World Cup and crashed out. In the first game, they can still be disappointed being down and out at one point, but in the following game of the series, they were quite comprehensive and looked a much better side than the hosts.
Bangladesh’s time in the shortest format is going from bad to worse. If the five losses in the super 12 round of the T20 World Cup were not evident to show their issues, two more losses in their own backyard have definitely given a reality check.
Pride is all Bangladesh can play for in this dead rubber. They have now lost seven T20I matches. The 4-1 and 3-2 series wins against Australia and New Zealand at home, seem a long time back, but it hasn’t been even six months. Despite all of those not going in their favor, skipper Mahmudullah will know his job could be on the line with a series cleansweep Bangladesh get. That being said, this match would mean something to the hosts.
Pitch and Conditions
The wicket so far in Dhaka has played as it was expected to. In the last year or so, we have become accustomed to really low scores in T20 matches and even low bounce from the wicket, which restricts run-scoring. Expect another 120-130 game.
